Come to probe strong gravity

The Conference secretariat has reserved the accomodation capacity in several and hotels which are located in the Old Town area within a short walking distance from the Conference venue. You are welcome to book one of these hotels through our website (after you log in). In case you have any special requests regarding your accommodation you can contact the Conference secretariat directly and we will be happy to assist you.

Full registration for the conference is now opened up and we invite participants to submit their abstracts. The deadline for early registrations and for oral contribution abstracts is December 15, 2009. The conference fee is 200 EUR  for regular participants and 100 EUR for students.

The list of main topics is now available and we have a nice poster! If you want to help us to market the meeting, please print a copy of the poster and post it to your noticeboard. We will soon allow abstract submissions and start to put together a detailed programme.

Our conference will take place right in the heart of the Old Prague Town in the historical building complex of the Charles University – Carolinum. Surrounded by old gothic and renessaince houses and facing the Fruit Market Square, the Charles College – Carolinum is the oldest preserved university building in Prague. In the Carolinum auditorium numerous outstanding personalities were given their honorary doctorates or they gave eminent lectures.

We are pleased to announce the conference "Probing Strong Gravity Near Black Holes", which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic on February 15-18, 2010. We encourage you to pre-register as this will help us to organize the conference. Pre-registration is voluntary and free, and is not required for final registration.
