Proceedings

The Proceedings will be made available electronically and in book form.

For the Proceedings, use has to be made of style-files provided by the IAU Publisher: Cambridge University Press. Style files and Instructions for Authors can be found at: ftp://ftp.sron.nl/pub/karelh/UPLOADS/IAU-CUP.dir/authors.dir. The instructions are in the README.txt file.

Due to a very high number of contributions we have to set the following page limits:
invited contribution ... 4 pages
oral contribution ... 2 pages
poster contribution ... 1 page

For supplementary 'on-line only' material, please, use the same style and macros as for the paper material. Begin this part by a Section "On-line section" or "Appendix".

The contract with CUP stipulates that Proceedings will be published six months after the Symposium. CUP needs three months for the production process, leaving the three months right after the Symposium for the Editors to complete their task. This implies that Proceedings' Editors have to request all Authors to ftp their completed manuscripts to them either before the Symposium or within 2 months after the end of the Symposium. We will not be able to accept any manuscripts for publication after this date, which is 20 October 2006.

How to send your contribution files by ftp:

psw: your e-mail address
cd incoming/S235
put name.tex
put name_fig1.ps
etc.

If nothing is transfered, you might have toggle the "passive" command, just in writing passive after your anonymous ftp login. When the files are there, please send a warning email to francoise.combes@obspm.fr

When completed, please download the IAU-Copyright-Form.pdf sign it, and send it back by eighter mail or FAX to

Francoise Combes
Observatoire de Paris, LERMA
61 Av. de l'Observatoire, F-75014 PARIS, France

The pre-Symposium-order bulk price of the Proceedings will be about 75 USD (a decision on this will be made by CUP and the IAU by the end of May 2005). Proceedings can be ordered via the GA-2006 Registration Form.
