Ondřej Zelenka is a postdoctoral researcher on the fellowship "Machine-learning-powered analysis of LISA data" of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is also the Assistant Coordinator of the AV21 strategy Space for Humankind. Ondřej completed his PhD in 2023 from the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität in Jena, Germany, after which he joined the Astronomical Institute of the CAS as a postdoc.

His research involves the study of gravitational waves, particularly those arising from the extreme mass ratio inspirals (EMRI), and waveform modeling with a focus on orbital resonances. He is also developing machine learning techniques for gravitational wave searches and other applications in gravitational wave astronomy, and is involved in the Toliman mission to discover potentially habitable planets in the Alpha Centauri star system and others.
